Bike Friday New World Tourist SRAM X5 10×3 is a world-class touring bike, capable of fully-loaded trips over many weeks, and can still serve as your everyday commuter/ride

The New World Tourist’s ability to fold in 30 seconds & put into the Samsonite suitcase (included in sale) allows you to put it into a car trunk, train seat, small ship cabin, or, with a little disassembly, pack it into the Samsonite suitcase for airline travel. Zero proprietary parts make it easy to maintain. It’s tested, tried and true, by thousands of riders!

No dints, paint 8.5/10. (Where the paint looks funky near the logo is just a clear sticker). It has 2 or 3 chips in the paint.

  1. Hi. As I now live in Cairns it is not possible to try the Bike Friday NWT. I have considered a number of folders including Brompton and Birdy. The Bike Friday Diamond Llama would be ideal but unfortunately, as I am retired, all these folders are out of reach financially. Have you serviced the NWT and does it require any repairs or upgrades? The pics appear to show a Bike in very good condition. Also how wide are the tyres; we have extensive dedicated bike paths in Cairns, not always paved? Cheers David.

    1. Hi David. The bike belongs to a regular customer at our bike shop. We’re selling it on his behalf. We’ve done the last 2 services on it. Everything is good, tight & works as it should. It doesn’t require any repairs

As for upgradess… We want to upgrade everything! 😆😆

You can change the tyres & yes you can go fatter or knobbly. It’s got 1.75’s on it atm with room to go bigger but for gravel 1.75 is plenty I think
