1226 Cannondale Synapse vs. Maribyrnong River Bike Trail Melbourne Victoria Spring 24/09/12

Full ride Maribyrnong River bike path from Dynon Rd Footscray to Brimbank Park including the hill climb up to Ring Rd out of Brimbank Park
Mid morning 24/09/14. (Early spring)
This section is about 15 km long (This was a middle section of a longer ride so I’m estimating)
Bike: Steve’s custom built 1226 Di2 Cannondale Synapse. Basic & tough as nails. 52/34 out front 11/28 out back. (I didn’t have a larger cassette on hand for the ride). 30mm Conty’s
This ride was undertaken after several decent falls of rain over the previous couple of weeks. Not much left of the path in areas. Bit slippery on a road bike in the mud but kinda fun 😎🚲👊
Average speed around 20 kmh Will def put on a bigger cassette again when this one is worn out
