I’m of the generation that older brothers & sisters rode these dragsters… By the time we came along the parents were converting them to bmx’s to save some money. Maybe why there’s so few of them left… Or maybe because they were built out of steel Lancia would have rejected. Either way, I still love the look of these old girls.
We could learn a lot from this era… Isn’t it long overdue that modern road bikes should be fitted with stick shift 😎🤡🚲
I owned one in PNG then we moved to Newcastle and built a bush basher out of it for our cycling club picnics, very similar to what ppl called BMX only before they came along
